DISTANCE GUIDELINES:
Long |
for experienced riders and include some moderate to hard climbs. Bring snack food and drink for on the ride. Allow 1 bottle of fluid per hour of riding. Bring spare tubes in case of a puncture(s). Usually 50 km to 70 km. |
Medium |
for recreational riders and those wanting to raise their fitness level. Usually 40 km to 60 km. |
Short |
for beginners and riders recovering from time off the bike. They are shorter rides of around 30 km to 40km. |

Sunday Morning Ride Schedule:
You are very welcome to join our Sunday rides as a visitor for a short time (for example, 3 rides).
However, if you intend to join us regularly, we encourage you to complete a membership form and pay the $30.00 annual subscription. For those over 70 years of age, the subscription fee is just $25.00.
Membership forms are available each Sunday.
The Ride Fee is $3.00 (payable every time you ride).
The Ride Fee helps cover the cost of tea, coffee, Milo, milk and biscuits at the conclusion of each Sunday ride.
No club rides will be held while we are at COVID-19 Alert Level Three

CLUB RIDING PROTOCOL
RESPONSIBILITY OF EACH INDIVIDUAL RIDER:
- Preparation for a bunch ride,
- Food and drink,
- Able to change punctures,
- Bike mechanical fitness,
- Selection of group to ride with,
- Knowledge of our bunch etiquette, (read more on bunch etiquette)
- Being on time for their particular group departure,
- Knowing the route they wish to ride on the day,
- To talk to fellow riders who may not be complying to club standards,
- Nurture any other rider who is struggling.
